Privacy notice
This notice is about candidates. If you are an employer, the agreement we sign with you governs what we do with your data.
Your CV is personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. This page says what we take, why we take it, who sees it and how you get it back or get it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who is responsible for your data
Calibre HR Consultancy LLP, trading as Calibre HR, of H 2, Western Express Highway, Navpada, Vile Parle East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400099, is the Data Fiduciary. Questions and requests go to hr@calibrehr.in.
What we collect
- What you type on the application form: your name, email, mobile number, the job title you are applying for, your expected salary, your current location, your notice period and your preferred job type.
- The CV you upload, and everything in it.
- Your answers to the assessment, and the marks and notes made on them.
- Records made while you sit the assessment: the time spent on each question, when you switched tab or window, when you pasted text and how much, your IP address, your browser and whether you were on a computer or a phone.
We do not ask for your caste, religion, health, or government identity numbers, and you should not put them in an application. If a CV contains them, they are stored only as part of that file and are never used to rank you.
Why we collect it
- To read your CV and generate an assessment from it.
- To mark that assessment and produce a report.
- To present you to employers who are hiring through us for roles that match your experience.
- To write to you about your application and about later roles that fit.
- To tell a genuine application apart from a duplicate, an empty upload or an automated one.
Your consent
You give consent by ticking the box on the application form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hr@calibrehr.in from the address you applied with. Withdrawing consent stops any further use and starts deletion. It does not undo anything that already happened, such as a CV already sent to an employer.
Who sees your data
- Employers we are hiring for. Your CV, your score, your assessment report and the details from your form go to an employer when their brief matches your experience, your salary expectation and your notice period.
- Our wider employer list. If you clear the assessment, your report and CV may also be sent to the employers on our standing list, whether or not they have an open brief with us. The current list is named in the email you receive with your result, and you can tell us not to do this by replying to that email. Nothing is sent before you clear.
- Our service providers. hosting Hostinger, database and file storage Supabase, email delivery Google, and an artificial intelligence service that reads your CV, writes your paper and helps mark it. They process your data on our instructions and for no other purpose.
- Nobody who pays for it. We do not sell, rent, list or post your CV to a job board, and we never will.
Some of these providers process data outside India. Where that happens it is done under contract terms that keep these same limits in place.
How long we keep it
Your CV, your answers and your report are deleted automatically 365 days after your last application, unless you have been placed through us, in which case we keep the record for 3 years because we have to be able to evidence the placement. You can ask for deletion sooner.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Correct anything wrong or out of date.
- Have it erased.
- Withdraw your consent.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.
- Raise a grievance, and take it further if we do not resolve it.

Languages
This notice is available in English, and on request in Hindi or Marathi. Write to hr@calibrehr.in and we will send it.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The assessment page keeps one short lived token so your answers save to the right paper.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we write to everyone whose data we are holding at the time. The version number and date at the top always tell you which version you are reading.
